Epiphany Worship Series 2021
In the season of Epiphany, God reveals or shows us who God ultimately is in and through the life and ministry of Jesus the Christ. We begin with the coming of the Magi, who show us that Jesus is for all people. As we explore once again what Jesus reveals to us about God, the Word Made Flesh, we also are shown who we are called to be as followers of Jesus, as followers of Jesus’ Way. As we begin a new year in the midst of so many worldly stresses, let us ground ourselves in who and whose we are. We will do so through the core values of our beloved church family of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Let us begin this new year committed to becoming God’s beloved community, connected with and through the Spirit, acting with compassion, and standing up for justice!
From January 17 through February 14, we will focus on the amazing story of the baptizing of Cornelius and the opening of Peter’s heart in Acts 10 and 11. You are invited to read the two chapters each week in their entirety as we spend time with specific portions of this powerful story.
