Children’s Ministries: Justice Explorers
Justice Explorers (formerly “Curious with Christ”) is open to children ages 4-11. We will be meeting from approximately 10:45 to 11:30am in “The Carpenter Shop ”classroom downstairs. An appropriate bible story will be explored along with activities demonstrating how to help carry out God’s vision of equity for all. We ask parents/guardians to accompany their children to the Carpenter’s Workshop on their first day to meet the teaching team, complete registration forms, and tour the classroom. Parents/guardians are also expected to come pick up their children after worship.
We need adults to help guide our children’s learning! Justice Explorers will be running 5-6 week seasons, but if you’re only able to commit to teaching a lesson or two, or simply want to be a substitute, that works, too! All classroom materials are provided, and as a “Safe Sanctuaries Church” there will always be two unrelated adults in the classroom at all times. For further info, and to take a look at our “Seeking Justice Together” curriculum, please contact Pastor Beckie, Nancy Potter or Joellyn Tuttle.
